Les determinants de la dynamique des salaires en France : approches macro et sectorielles par la courbe de Phillips

Abstract

Cette etude s’interesse à l’evolution de la courbe de Phillips, c’est-à-dire la relation negative entre croissance des salaires nominaux et chômage. À partir d’estimations trimestrielles entre 1975 et 2018 en France, cette etude montre que la courbe de Phillips existe toujours sur la decennie qui suit la crise de 2008-2009, même si elle s’est aplatie au cours du temps. L’inflation passee n’est plus un determinant significatif des salaires après la crise de 1992-1993. La dynamique des salaires est plus portee par l’inflation passee agregee du prix de la consommation que par l’inflation passee sectorielle du prix de la valeur ajoutee. L’etude decompose egalement les coefficients au niveau sectoriel, pour mettre en evidence d’eventuelles divergences entre l’industrie et les services. Mise à part la productivite qui n’affecte significativement les salaires que dans les services, les autres variables n’ont pas des effets differencies sectoriellement.
