Mondialisation et formes de concurrence sur les grands marchés de matières premières énergétiques : Le pétrole

Abstract

Cet article préparé pour la Revue de l'Énergie à l'occasion de son 50e anniversaire fait le point sur l'accentuation de la mondialisation et l'évolution des formes de concurrence dans le secteur amont de l'industrie pétrolière. Après une analyse historique rapide des marchés pétroliers, le jeu des principaux acteurs est étudié : ouverture par les pays producteurs de nouveaux "territoires de chasse" aux compagnies internationales, internationalisation des compagnies nationales, stratégie d'alliances et rapprochement des entreprises pétrolières et parapétrolières, internationalisation du capital, réponse aux défis de la préservation de notre environnement. Les annexes présentent quelques données non comprises dans l'article de la Revue de l'Énergie.
