¿Mujeres en suelos pegajosos? Un análisis de la evolución de las distribuciones de ingresos laborales en Bolivia en el periodo 2011-2019

Abstract

A pesar de los avances de las mujeres en la esfera laboral, aún persisten las brechas en ingresos laborales entre hombres y mujeres. El cierre de éstas es deseable para garantizar la igualdad de género en el mercado laboral. Partiendo de este reconocimiento, el trabajo analiza la brecha de ingresos laborales entre hombres y mujeres a lo largo de la distribución de ingresos en tres periodos de estudio (2011-2013, 2014-2016 y 2017-2019), permitiendo un análisis de la evolución de la brecha promedio en estos periodos para las áreas urbanas de Bolivia, con el objetivo de probar la existencia de las circunstancias conocidas como suelos pegajosos y/o techos de cristal.
