AFLA – Arbeitskräftemobilität und Fachkräftebedarf nach der Liberalisierung des österreichischen Arbeitsmarktes. Migrations- und Pendelpotentiale nach Ende der Übergangsfristen für die Arbeitskräftefreizügigkeit

Abstract

Diese Studie untersucht die Migrations- und Pendelbereitschaft in Tschechien, der Slowakei und Ungarn vor dem Hintergrund des Auslaufens der Übergangsfristen für die Arbeitskräftefreizügigkeit mit Mai 2011. Demnach sind derzeit rund 0,4% der Bevölkerung Tschechiens, der Slowakei und Ungarns im erwerbsfähigen Alter bereit, innerhalb von zwei Jahren nach Österreich zu migrieren oder zu pendeln, und haben dazu bereits konkrete Vorbereitungsschritte unternommen. Viele beabsichtigen aber, nur temporär in Österreich zu arbeiten. Wie die Untersuchung der Qualifikationsstruktur zeigt, weisen jene, die in Österreich arbeiten möchten, überwiegend Qualifikationen auf Facharbeiter- oder Maturaniveau auf.
