Regionale Arbeitsmarktwirkungen der Ostintegration

Abstract

In den EU-Ländern – insbesondere in Deutschland und Österreich – werden eine Belastung des Arbeitsmarktes durch Migration und entsprechender Druck auf die Löhne befürchtet, sollte den MOEL unmittelbar mit ihrem EU-Beitritt die volle Freizügigkeit der Arbeitskräfte gewährt werden. Dem Entstehen regional konzentrierter Problemlagen durch Zuwanderung und Pendlerströme sollte im Rahmen einer offensiven Vorbereitungsstrategie begegnet werden.
