Transformation in der Arbeitswelt gestalten: Welchen Beitrag leistet eine akademische Weiterbildung von Betriebs- und Personalräten?

Abstract

Damit Transformationsprozesse nachhaltig, sozial gerecht und im Sinne demokratischer Entwicklung gestaltet werden können, sind Interessenvertretungen als Mitbestimmungsakteure gefordert. Die komplexen Gestaltungsaufgaben erhöhen die Kompetenzanforderungen an Betriebs- und Personalräte. Erstmals zeigt eine empirische Studie, welche dafür notwendigen Spezialkenntnisse und Kompetenzen im Rahmen einer akademischen Weiterbildung vermittelt werden können. Durch zertifizierte Abschlüsse erfährt die Tätigkeit im Ehrenamt eine höhere Wertschätzung und die Mitbestimmung wird für die Zukunft gestärkt.
