Leitbildprägung und Leitbildgestaltung: Zum Beitrag der Technikgenese-Forschung für eine prospektive Technikfolgen-Regulierung

Abstract

Wer sich des Leitbild-Begriffs bedient, stößt sehr schnell auf eine spürbare Diskurs-Differenz. Einerseits greift dieser Begriff in den unterschiedlichsten Verwendungskontexten rasant Raum, andererseits steht dieser zunehmenden Kontextvielfalt eine mangelnde Begriffspräzision gegenüber. Aus dieser Diskurs-Differenz speist sich eine Diskurs-Ambivalenz: Manchen gilt der Leitbildbegriff al~ neues Code-, anderen schon als Reizwort. Um diese Differenz und Ambivalenz des Leitbild-Diskurses zu überwinden, werden in der vorliegenden Arbeit, ausgehend von einem funktionsanalytischen Modell, Antworten auf folgende zwei Forschungsfragen gesucht: Erstens, welche Präge- und Formierungskraft besitzen Leitbilder in technikgenetischen Prozessen? Zweitens, lassen sich technische und Organisationsleitbilder zielgerichtet gestalten? Während sich die Überlegungen zur Leitbildprägung auf eine technikgeschichtliche Fallstudie, nämlich die Entwicklung der mechanischen Schreibmaschine stützen und sich schwerpunktmäßig darauf konzentrieren, wie sich bestimmte Leitbilder (Diener des Schreibenden, Diener des Schreibens, Massenproduktion und Serienfertigung) in diese Artefakte eingeschrieben haben, geht es bei den Ausführungen zum zweiten Problemfeld vor allem darum, grundsätzliche Ansatzpunkte für eine Veränderung von Organisations-, insbesondere Unternehmensleitbildern herauszuarbeiten, um so Anregungen dafür zur Diskussion zu stellen, wie die kulturspezifischen Filter, durch die technische Leitbilder modifiziert werden, möglicherweise beeinflußt und verändert werden können. Durch graphische Darstellungen sollen die entwickelten Begriffe und Argumentationslinien anschaulich erläutert werden.
