Exploration multiniveaux des causes de la pauvreté des apprentissages au Maroc : une approche compréhensive

Abstract

L’amélioration de la qualité des apprentissages constitue un défi majeur pour le système éducatif marocain, qui, d'après de nombreuses évaluations qualitatives et quantitatives, se positionne parmi les moins performants en termes de compétences scolaires. Les résultats des tests internationaux tels que TIMSS et PIRLS mettent en évidence des scores préoccupants en mathématiques, sciences et lecture, démontrant que plus de 40 % des élèves ne parviennent pas à atteindre le niveau de maîtrise requis dans ces domaines clés. Les lacunes des élèves marocains sont multiples : difficultés à comprendre et à appliquer des concepts de base en mathématiques, résolution de problèmes complexes, reconnaissance des données graphiques, interprétation des textes et identification des idées principales en lecture, compréhension limitée des concepts scientifiques fondamentaux en sciences. Ces faibles performances se reflètent également dans les évaluations du programme PISA, où les scores obtenus sont bien en deçà des seuils requis.
