Abstract

Eine grosse Zahl oekonometrischer Studien, hat die Auswirkungen zentraler Abschlusspruefungen auf die Leistungen von Schuelern untersucht und immer wieder einen positiven Zusammenhang gefunden. Dieser Aufsatz soll dazu beitragen, den Begriff zentrale Abschlusspruefung zu konkretisieren, indem zwischen der zentralen Aufgabenstellung und der anschliessenden zentralen Bewertung unterschieden wird. Hierzu stellen wir den gesetzlichen Rahmen fuer die 16 deutschen Bundeslaender und die drei verschiedenen Schulabschluesse jeweils dar. Im Anschluss unternehmen wir erste oekonometrische Analysen, die zeigen, dass sich der genauere Blick auf die unterschiedlich zentralen Abschlusspruefungen tatsaechlich lohnt.
