Abstract

Die Eingliederungsbeihilfe – ein vom AMS angebotener zielgruppenorientierter Lohnkostenzuschuss – zielt auf die Verbesserung der Beschäftigungschancen Arbeitsloser und setzt Schwerpunkte auf die Förderung der älteren und Langzeitarbeitslosen. Die vorliegende Evaluierung zeichnet den Einsatz dieses arbeitsmarktpolitischen Instrumentes der österreichischen Arbeitsmarktpolitik nach und überprüft seine Wirkung auf die weitere Erwerbskarriere der Geförderten mit mikroökonometrischen Methoden. Trotz erheblicher Mitnahmeeffekte ist eine positive Gesamtwirkung festzustellen. Die größten positiven Wirkungen ergeben sich für Personen mit größeren Reintegrationsproblemen, besonders für Langzeitarbeitslose und Ältere.
