Abstract

This paper investigates the chaotic map based on a discrete memristor. This new structure can exhibit multi-vortex-like volume behavior. Generating the chaotic map (VL-DMSIN) using a discrete sinusoidal memristor exhibits vortex-like volume number controllable phenomena, hyperchaos phenomena, period-offset behavior, state-transfer capability and initial value offset behavior. This experiment found that adjusting the coupling strength of the discrete memristor can control the control effects such as generating the number of multiple vortex-like volumes and multiple controllable offset behaviors. The article gives a simulation circuit for the discrete sinusoidal memristor and designs a simulation circuit for generating the VL-DMSIN; we implement VL-DMSIN using a DSP hardware platform and show the effect of controllable quantities in the hardware platform. We verify the physical existence and realizability of the VL-DMSIN. Finally, the complexity, stochasticity and feasibility of VL-DMSIN are verified by correlation analysis and testing. The application prospects of the VL-DMSIN are demonstrated.
