Der Einfluss von Geduld und Risikobereitschaft auf internationale Unterschiede in schulischen Leistungen

Abstract

Kulturelle Unterschiede haben eine große Bedeutung für die Leistungen von Schüler*innen. Anhand von Daten von fast 2 Mio. Schüler*innen in 49 Ländern im Zeitraum 2000–2018 wurde untersucht, wie sich Geduld und Risikobereitschaft auf die Schülerleistungen auswirken. Ein positiver Effekt von Geduld und ein negativer Effekt von Risikobereitschaft machen zwei Drittel der internationalen Variation in Schülerleistungen aus.
