COVID-19 Working Paper: Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program and Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer Redemptions during the Coronavirus Pandemic

Abstract

The coronavirus, and the resulting U.S. economic contraction, has led to increased food assistance to U.S. households. This paper analyzes monthly patterns in combined SNAP and EBT benefits for part of 2020.
