A Importância Da Certificação E Da Rastreabilidade Para Garantia De Competitividade No Agronegócio: Conceitos E Proposta De Um Modelo Analítico

Abstract

A discussão econômica sobre a certificação de produtos agrícolas é ampla e complexa. A discussão sobre qual é o nível adequado da intervenção governamental na certificação é atual e muito procedente. A teoria tem demonstrado que a certificação obrigatória é mais eficiente para mercados onde há assimetria de informação e pouco eficientes para questões ambientais ou outras externalidades associadas à produção ou consumo. (Golan et alli, 2000). O presente trabalho tem por objetivo apresentar um arcabouço analítico que permita organizar as peças fundamentais a serem trabalhadas no que concerne ao processo de certificação e rastreabilidade na cadeia de carne vermelha.
