Abstract

Este libro contiene ocho estudios sobre las víctimas del conflicto armado desde diferentes perspectivas de las ciencias jurídicas y sociales. Incluye una aproximación de carácter sociológico sobre la noción de víctima, una revisión crítica del régimen de reparación en las Fuerzas Armadas, un análisis estadístico de las víctimas militares y un examen del uso de minas antipersona como medio ilícito de combate que se traduce en crimen de guerra. Ofrece, además, un detallado informe del desminado humanitario emprendido por el Ejército Nacional para reparar el tejido social de las comunidades que han sufrido esta práctica atroz de los alzados en armas. El presente volumen es una contribución más de la colección Ejército, Institucionalidad y Sociedad, el amplio repertorio de trabajos de investigación auspiciado por el Ejército para fortalecer el análisis de las consecuencias del conflicto armado en el país. Estos aportes, emprendidos con independencia académica, fueron realizados por estudiosos que prestan labores de asesoría en el Comité de Altos Estudios para el Fortalecimiento Institucional (CAEFI) del Ejército Nacional.
