L’Évolution Des Inégalités De Revenu Entre Canadiens De Naissance Et Immigrés

Abstract

Cet article étudie l’évolution des écarts de revenu entre Canadiens de naissance et immigrés originaires de régions autres que l’Europe et les Etats-Unis entre 1991 et 2011. Nous utilisons la méthode de décomposition de Blinder-Oaxaca pour évaluer le rôle des facteurs intrinsèques (genre, éducation, profession...) et des facteurs non observés (discrimination, sous-qualification...) sur le creusement des disparités de revenu entre les immigrés et les Canadiens de naissance.
