Занятия Спортом И Образовательные Достижения В Школе: Российские Данные (Пер. С Англ.)

Abstract

E-mail: dtovar@up.edu.mxАнализируется связь между спортивными занятиями и образовательными достижениями у учащихся 1-11-х классов школы. Эмпирической основой исследования послужили данные, полученные в период с 2010 по 2015 г. в ходе Российского мониторинга экономического положения и здоровья населения (волны XIX-XXIV) - репрезентативного в отношении национальной выборки обследования. Использовались логистические регрессии с панельными данными - метод, который позволяет учитывать инвариантные во времени объясняющие переменные. Учитывались данные о спортивных занятиях в школе (во время уроков) и вне школы (до или после уроков). Оценивалось влияние разных видов спортивных занятий: 1) спортивных единоборств, таких как карате, дзюдо, самооборона, борьба и бокс; 2) игр мячом, таких как теннис, футбол, баскетбол и волейбол; 3) атлетических видов спорта, таких как легкая атлетика, лыжи и коньки. В целом спортивные занятия в школе не показали значимой связи с образовательными достижениями. Некоторые виды спортивных занятий вне школы положительно коррелируют с академическими успехами. В частности, занятия атлетическими видами спорта повышают вероятность попадания в категорию учеников с высокой успеваемостью у мальчиков, а занятия спортивными единоборствами - у девочек. Кроме того, мальчики, которые занимаются играми с мячом вне школы, с меньшей вероятностью попадают в категорию учеников с низкой успеваемостью. Продолжительность времени, которое ученики посвящают спорту, не оказывает влияния на оценку этой вероятности. Тем не менее мальчики, которые занимаются спортом более 10 часов в неделю ("результативные спортсмены") с большей вероятностью попадают в группу учеников с низкой успеваемостью.
