A kompetenciaeredmények hatása a munkaerőpiaci sikerességre
[The effect of competence results on job-market success]

Abstract

Tanulmányunkban nagymintás adminisztratív paneladatokon mutatjuk meg, hogy az országos kompetenciamérés 10. évfolyamos tesztpontszámai erősen összefüggnek a korai munkaerőpiaci helyzettel. Eredményeink szerint egy szórással jobb matematikai tesztpontszám átlagosan körülbelül 4-5 százalékkal, míg egy szórással nagyobb szövegértési tesztpontszám ezen felül további 1-2 százalékkal növeli a korai munkaerőpiaci kereseteket. A munkanélküliség valószínűségét is jelentősen csökkentheti a jobb kognitív készség: összességében egy szórással nagyobb matematikai tesztpontszám 1,5 százalékponttal csökkenti a munkanélküliségi esélyt, míg a szövegértési tesztpontszám növelése további 0,7 százalékponttal csökkenti. A kognitív készségek a magasabb végzettségűek esetében a keresetekre gyakorolnak nagyobb hatást, míg az alacsonyabb végzettségűek esetében nincs hatással a tesztpontszám a későbbi keresetekre. A munkanélküliség esetében minden végzettségi szinten van hatásuk a tesztpontszámoknak. Journal of Economic Literature (JEL) kód: I26, I24, J01.
