Wohin es die Deutschen im Sommer nach dem Shutdown zieht

Abstract

Eine Analyse mit Google Trends zeigt im Sommer 2020 durch die Coronakrise bedingte Verschiebungen in der Urlaubsplanung der Deutschen. Suchanfragen für Urlaubsreisen innerhalb Deutschlands haben sich auf das Vorkrisenniveau erholt oder zeigen sogar einen starken Anstieg, der in manchen Fällen das Doppelte des saisonal Üblichen erreicht. Fraglich ist jedoch, ob der Zuwachs an deutschen Urlaubern den Mangel an ausländischen Urlaubern in den deutschen Urlaubsregionen ausgleichen kann.
