Der ressourcenbasierte Ansatz als theoretischer Bezugsrahmen: Grundlagen, Theoriebausteine und Prozessorientierung

Abstract

Mit der Bedeutung von Ressourcen für Unternehmen beschäftigen sich mehrere Forschungsansätze. Im Rahmen des vorliegenden Research Papers werden der klassische ressourcenbasierte Ansatz und seine Erweiterungen um Kompetenzen, Kernkompetenzen und dynamische Fähigkeiten dargestellt. Die vorhandenen Theoriebausteine werden in strukturelle und prozessorientierte Elemente unterteilt und beiden Elementen werden die entsprechenden Rentenarten zugeordnet. Es wird deutlich, dass Forscher, die den ressourcenbasierten Ansatz anwenden, sich entscheiden müssen, ob sie gleichgewichtsorientiert und damit strukturell argumentieren oder ob sie eine evolutionstheoretische und damit gleichzeitig prozessbezogene Argumentation bevorzugen. In die abschließende Beurteilung organisationaler Performance sollten trotzdem strukturelle und prozessbezogene Variablen einfließen.
