Irrglaube Mindestlöhne: Trügerische Hoffnung, zerstörte Beschäftigungschancen

Abstract

Angesichts von nach wie vor bestehender Massenarbeitslosigkeit im Umfang von rund 4 Millionen offiziell ausgewiesenen Arbeitslosen grenzt dieses Vorhaben an arbeitsmarktpolitischen Wahnsinn. Dass überzogene Lohnerhöhungen im Allgemeinen und Mindestlöhne im Speziellen letzten Endes eine beträchtliche Zahl derjenigen schädigen, die sie zu begünstigenvorgeben, gehört jedoch zu den unbequemen Wahrheiten der Marktwirtschaft. Daher will die vorliegende Publikation etwas Licht ins Dunkel bringen und auf die ökonomischen Langfristgefahren hinweisen, die die Einführung von Mindestlöhnen in Deutschland mit sich brächte.
