Theoretische Ansätze zur Erklärung der Arbeitslosigkeit: Wo stehen wir 1995?

Abstract

Dieser Beitrag stellt ausgewählte theoretische Ansätze zur Erklärung der Arbeitslosigkeit vor. Als Orientierung zur Einordnung der verschiedenen Hypothesen dient der Analyserahmen einer quasi-gleichgewichtigen Arbeitslosenquote mit einer Arbeitsnachfragefunktion, die auch als Preissetzungsverhalten der Unternehmen interpretiert werden kann, einer Lohnsetzungsfunktion und einer Arbeitsangebotsfunktion. Angebots- und nachfrageseitige Ursachen einer strukturellen Arbeitslosigkeit und ihre Interdependenzen können in diesem Rahmen ebenso diskutiert werden, wie das Persistenzverhalten einer Arbeitslosigkeit und konjunkturell bedingter Beschäftigungsmangel.
