Risikobewertung und Risikomanagement landwirtschaftlicher BetriebsleiterInnen in Österreich – deskriptive Befragungsergebnisse 2015

Abstract

Im Jahr 2015 wurden österreichweit landwirtschaftliche BetriebsleiterInnen von Dauerkultur-, Forst- Futterbau-, Marktfrucht-, Veredelungs- und Gemischtbetrieben schriftlich zur Risikobewertung und zum betrieblichen Risikomanagement befragt. Dieses Diskussionspapier präsentiert deskriptive Ergebnisse für die Gesamtstichprobe (N = 486), für die sechs Betriebsformen, für Haupt- und Nebenerwerbsbetriebe, biologisch und konventionell wirtschaftende Betriebe, sowie für Bergbauern- und Nicht-Bergbauernbetriebe. Es erfolgt eine Charakterisierung anhand von betrieblichen Strukturmerkmalen wie bewirtschaftete Eigen- und Pachtflächen, Arbeitskräfteausstattung, Viehbestand sowie der genutzten Vermarktungswege. Die familiäre Situation der BetriebsleiterInnen wird durch Haushalts- und Entscheidungsstrukturen, Hofnachfolgesituation und Bedeutung der Landwirtschaft für das Haushaltseinkommen abgebildet. Die Ergebnisse geben Einblick in die Selbsteinschätzung der BetriebsleiterInnen zu ihrer eigenen Risikobereitschaft sowie in deren Erwartungen hinsichtlich Eintrittswahrscheinlichkeiten und Auswirkungen zukünftiger Risiken. Aufschluss liefern die Ergebnisse auch darüber, wie die BetriebsleiterInnen die Wirksamkeit von Risikomanagementstrategien bei der Kontrolle von Risiken einschätzen, welche Strategien sie in ihren Betrieben bereits einsetzen und welche sie in Zukunft einzusetzen planen
