Bestimmungsgründe für die Beschäftigung und Rekrutierung von Älteren sowie für das Angebot an altersspezifischen Personalmaßnahmen

Abstract

Die vorliegende Studie untersucht die Determinanten für die Beschäftigung von Älteren und für das Angebot an altersspezifischen Personalmaßnahmen. Anhand ökonometrischer Schätzungen mittels der Daten des IAB-Betriebspanels, insbesondere der Wellen 2005, 2006 und 2008, werden zudem die Bestimmungsgründe für Einstellungen von Personen über 50 Jahren betrachtet. Insgesamt wird der bisherige Forschungsstand bekräftigt und erweitert. Unter anderem werden die erwarteten Zusammenhänge auch in drei Betriebsgrößenklassen ausgewertet, um Unterschiede in der Betriebsgröße zu würdigen. Hierbei wird deutlich, dass der Personal- und Qualifikationsstruktur, den betriebswirtschaftlichen Kennziffern und der Produktionsstruktur sowie den industriellen Beziehungen und Rahmenbedingungen eine hohe Bedeutung beigemessen werden muss.
