L'adoption de la technologie au Canada et aux Etats-Unis

Abstract

Les auteurs examinent en quoi l'usage de la technologie differe au Canada et aux Etats-Unis, et les raisons d'une telle difference. L'etude aborde divers aspects de l'utilisation de la technologieCnombre et genre de technologies utilisees, variations dans leur utilisation sur le plan des regions, de la taille de l'entreprise et du secteur d'activite. Suit une analyse des avantages que procure le recours aux technologies de pointe selon les gestionnaires et des facteurs que les memes personnes estiment constituer des entraves. Bien que les gestionnaires d'entreprise des deux pays insistent generalement de maniere semblable sur certains elements de la liste des avantages percus et des problemes nuisant a l'adoption de la technologie, on note d'importantes fluctuations, sans doute a cause de la plus petite taille du marche canadien.
