Abstract

Dans cette note, nous développons un modèle dans lequel l'embauche d'un travailleur sans expérience comporte une caractéristique de bien public en révélant à tous les employeurs le type du travailleur. Dans ce contexte, nous démontrons que l'embauche de travailleurs sans expérience est sous-optimale du point de vue des profits joints des firmes et qu'une politique d'emploi peut augmenter simultanément les profits joints et l'emploi.
