Abstract

Le rapport a pour objectif principal de vulgariser un certain nombre de notions et d'approches propres à l'économie territoriale et urbaine. Il s'adresse au réseau des chargés d'études économiques des services déconcentrés du MEEDDM. Les personnels travaillant sur ces thématiques dans les collectivités territoriales et les agences d'urbanisme peuvent également être concernés.La première partie du rapport se veut pédagogique. Elle présente les courants actuels de l'économie territoriale et urbaine ainsi que quelques notions d'économie liées aux acteurs des territoires (les entreprises, les ménages et la sphère publique). La seconde partie, dans une perspective différente, permet d'introduire le lecteur dans les techniques de l'analyse économique des territoires, avec une présentation de diverses bases de données et de techniques usuelles. La troisième et dernière partie insiste davantage sur les débats et controverses actuels, spécifiques à l'économie territoriale (rapport entre mondialisation et territoire par exemple). Ce rapport d'étude sert de base à un ouvrage phare sur l'économie territoriale et urbaine que le Certu réalisera ensuite. Le discours y sera en particulier enrichi d'un certain nombre de monographies.
