Port governance: Practical considerations on the concept of compromise

Abstract

Cette recherche analyse la capacité de gouverner un port en ayant recours au concept de compromis. Le travail de terrain sur deux cas d'étude (Le Havre en France et Abidjan en Côte d'Ivoire) interroge la capacité des parties prenantes à développer des outils managériaux innovants en matière de gouvernance. Les courants sociologiques de la théorie de la régulation sociale d'une part et de la sociologie pragmatique d'autre part assoient le travail théorique de la recherche. Les résultats de la recherche sont synthétisés dans une boîte à outils managériale à visée opérationnelle avec cinq étapes clés qui utilisent le compromis dans la gouvernance portuaire.
