Abstract

Face au défi global que représente l'engagement environnemental, l'implication de tous les acteurs s'impose quel que soit leur statut ou leur taille. Bien qu'elles représentent près de 9 entreprises sur 10, la manière selon laquelle les organisations de petite taille conçoivent et agissent en la matière reste encore une « boite noire ». L'engagement environnemental des dirigeants de petites entreprises devient ainsi un enjeu majeur. Comme pour d'autres enjeux, la mise en collectif des structures est un moyen puissant. Mais comment fonctionnent les processus, depuis les représentations jusqu'à la constitution d'un collectif ? La présente recherche exploite un terrain spécifique - la filière clémentine corse - pour illustrer la question du soutien de déterminants de l'engagement responsable par des stratégies collectives et du rôle des représentations des acteurs. Pour cela trois cas ont été réalisés et traités par la méthode de la cartographie cognitive. Les résultats permettent d'identifier plusieurs concepts clés qui tendent à prouver que les actions environnementales sont le fruit d'une évolution des croyances et des représentations, dans un jeu réflexif à double sens favorisant la structuration du collectif.
