Les modalités d’appropriation des outils de gestion en contexte pluraliste : une double perspective théorique

Abstract

La nature complexe des activités à réaliser dans certains contextes organisationnels, caractérisés par la multiplicité des acteurs, l'hétérogénéité des objectifs, invite à s'interroger sur l'appropriation des outils de gestion qui équipent ces activités dans de tels contextes. L'objectif de notre recherche consiste à identifier les approches théoriques pouvant être mobilisées dans les recherches portant sur les modalités nécessaires à l'appropriation des outils de gestion dans un contexte de changement. Quelles sont les approches susceptibles de servir de socle théorique à l'étude des modalités nécessaires à la mise en usage des outils de gestion dans un contexte pluraliste ? Pour ce faire, une articulation entre l'approche narrative et l'approche par les paradoxes est envisagée pour analyser le processus d'appropriation des outils de gestion dans un contexte pluraliste afin d'apporter une contribution aux travaux portant sur l'articulation entre conception et usage de l'instrumentation gestionnaire. Nos résultats soulignent, d'une part, la nécessité des critères d'intertextualité des outils de gestion, et d'autre part, mettent en évidence le paradoxe inhérent à l'évolution / continuité des outils de gestion et l'importance du déploiement de stratégies contextuellement ambidextres comme des modalités nécessaires à l'appropriation des outils de gestion en contexte pluraliste.
