L'évaluation des compétences interculturelles

Abstract

La compétence interculturelle est évaluée dans divers contextes, organisationnels et de carrière, d'auto-évaluation et d'apprentissage, ou dans la recherche. En tant que concept abstrait, la compétence interculturelle ne peut être évaluée directement, mais uniquement à travers ses manifestations, conséquences, ou antécédents supposés. Après avoir abordé les différents contextes et approches d'évaluation, cet article présente et discute plus en détail deux catégories d'outils couramment utilisées : les échelles de mesure et les assimilateurs de culture. Il conclut sur une mise en perspective des outils d'évaluation de la compétence interculturelle et détaille leurs avantages et inconvénients selon les contextes d'utilisation.
