Abstract

The main hypothesis of this study is that market, access conditions are incentive enough for the technical transformation of yam food production in Cameroon. The study is carried out using supply chain analysis in a context of heterogeneous sources of informations. It reveals poor functioning in the increase of costs and commercial margins in the period of seasonal shortage. It shows how these poor functioning are partially responsible of technological inertia of production systems.
