Transfer guter Praxis - Ansätze zur Lösung demografischer Herausforderungen in der Ernährungsindustrie

Abstract

Der demografische Wandel stellt die Unternehmen der Ernährungsindustrie vor große Herausforderungen. Die strukturellen Veränderungen schlagen sich bereits heute in den Altersstrukturen der Betriebe nieder - und sie werden sich den Prognosen zur zufolge in den Betrieben in den nächsten Jahren weiter zuspitzen. Ungeachtet der bestehenden Situation beschäftigt sich ein Großteil der Unternehmen der Ernährungsindustrie wenig mit der Frage, wie eine betriebliche Personalpolitik angelegt sein muss, die mit dem demografischen Wandel produktiv umgeht. Spezifische Strategien und Maßnahmen einer demografiebewussten Personalpolitik, die die Stärken und Problemlagen verschiedener Altersgruppen aufgreifen, fehlen in vielen Unternehmen der Ernährungsindustrie weitestgehend.Anhand von fünf Unternehmensbeispielen wird aufgezeigt, welche Lösungsansätze zur Bewältigung und Gestaltung des demografischen Wandels sich in der Praxis bewährt haben. Das Spektrum reicht von systematischer Nachfolgeplanung und altersgerechten Schichtmodellen (Nordzucker), über altersgerechte Personalentwicklung und gleitende Übergänge in den Ruhestand (Ritter), Qualifizierung und betrieblicher Wissenstransfer zwischen Alt und Jung (Nirosta) bis hin zu einem ganzheitlichen Ansatz eines Demografiemanagements (Fraport) und einer umfassenden Demografievereinbarung auf Konzernebene (Unilever).
