Experteneinschätzungen zum globalen Standortwettbewerb

Abstract

Insgesamt zeichnet die Expertenumfrage ein ernüchterndes Bild des Standorts Deutschland. Knapp die Hälfte der deutschen Expertinnen und Experten prognostiziert, dass der Wirtschaftsstandort Deutschland in den nächsten zehn Jahren an Attraktivität verlieren wird. Vor dem Hintergrund der vergangenen zehn Jahre wird sich Deutschlands Position im internationalen Standortwettbewerb damit laut Expertenmeinung noch weiter verschlechtern. Das mit Abstand wichtigste Handlungsfeld für die Politik ist laut unserer Umfrage der Bürokratieabbau, gefolgt von Investitionen in die Infrastruktur sowie der Erleichterung von (Arbeits-)Migration.
