Die regionalen Arbeitsmarkteffekte der Wiedervereinigung in Deutschland

Abstract

Wie entstehen Unterschiede regionaler Arbeitsmärkte? Diese Frage lässt sich nur schwer beantworten, da Ursache und Wirkung wegen zahlreicher gegenseitiger Abhängigkeiten auf regionaler Ebene kaum zu unterscheiden sind. Die deutsche Wiedervereinigung stellt dagegen ein exogenes Ereignis dar, an dem diese Frage untersucht werden kann.
