Az Érmellék mint határ menti kistérség stratégiai értékelése és lehetséges jövőbeli státusza

Abstract

Az Érmellék napjaink egyik legkarakteresebb határon túli magyar tájegysége. Geostratégiai szempontból Trianon óta számít határ mentinek, s ez a fölrajzi pozíció ez idáig csak hátrányosan érintette az itt élő lakosságot. Az integrációs folyamatoknak köszönhetően a jövőben lehetőség nyílik az elszigeteltség oldására, a szomszédos magyarországi tájegységekhez való közeledésre és elsősorban az Érmellék és a történelmi vonzásközpont, Debrecen kapcsolatának az újraértelmezésére.
