BERIO – Ein kleinräumiges Input-Output- und Emissionsmodell der österreichischen Wirtschaft

Abstract

Dieser Beitrag beschreibt die Ableitung der Datenbasis für eine regional und sektoral stark disaggregierte Input-Output-Tabelle. Die regionale Ebene stellen dabei die österreichischen Bezirke dar, die sektorale Ebene bildet eine Mischung aus NACE-Zwei- und Dreistellern. Insgesamt werden 157 Branchen in 94 Bezirken unterschieden. Für diese regionalen Branchen werden neben den wesentlichen wirtschaftlichen Kennzahlen (Produktionswert, Wertschöpfung, Beschäftigung, Investitionen) die Strukturen und die regionale Herkunft der Inputfaktoren sowie die sektoralen Emissionen geschätzt. Die so abgeleitete multiregionale Input-Output-Tabelle bildet die Basis für BERIO, ein statisches regionales Input-Output-Modell des WIFO. Eine Kurzanalyse der österreichischen Kfz-Herstellung wird als Anwendungsbeispiel für BERIO vorgestellt.
