Abstract

Sozialökonomische Betriebe (SÖB) und Gemeinnützige Beschäftigungsprojekte (GBP) bieten Arbeitslosen mit Vermittlungshindernissen zeitlich befristete Arbeitsplätze mit begleitenden Qualifizierungsmaßnahmen und sozialpädagogischer Betreuung. Ziel ist es, die Chancen der Betroffenen auf Integration in den regulären Arbeitsmarkt zu erhöhen. Wie eine mikroökonometrische Evaluierung zeigt, verbessern Transitarbeitsplätze in SÖB oder GBP die Erwerbsbeteiligung und die Reintegrationschancen der geförderten Arbeitslosen im Durchschnitt signifikant, wobei Frauen und ältere Arbeitskräfte überproportional von der Förderung profitieren.
