Discriminación y diferenciales de salarios en el mercado laboral

Abstract

Este artículo presenta un modelo de determinación de salarios que usa ecuaciones de réplica para representar las regularidades sociales que originan las preferencias de discriminación de los empleadores. La hipótesis básica es que esas preferencias están sujetas a la interacción entre oferentes y demandantes de trabajo en un escenario de pleno empleo. El trabajo es un aporte teórico a la discusión sobre la discriminación de salarios, tema en el que predominan los estudios empíricos sobre las diferencias de salarios.
