Abstract

[fre] On montre comment et théorie moderne publiques permettent la nature et l'évolution des politiques agricoles. On cherche une logique « fondamentale » dans la direction prise par la réforme de la PAC et dans le type de compromis qui a fini par prévaloir au GATT. [eng] Agriculture in the GATT and CAP reform : insights from a political economy and public finance viewpoint . In this paper, we review how arguments of Political Economy and Public Finance can be used to explain government attitudes towards agricultural policies. We apply the collective action approach to the CAP reform and the GATT game.
