Önfoglalkoztatás, munkanélküliség és családi kisvállalkozások Magyarországon
[Self-employment, unemployment and small family firms in Hungary]

Abstract

Az önfoglalkoztatási ráta növekedésének egyik oka a kibővült lehetőségekben, a szolgáltatások iránti kereslet növekedésében, másik oka pedig abban kereshető, hogy a munkanélküliség növekedésével a munkavállalók bizonyos csoportjai egyre nehezebben tudnak alkalmazottként elhelyezkedni. Kevés az empirikus adat arról, hogy melyik hatás dominált Magyarországon a kilencvenes években. A KSH munkaerőfelméréseinek adatait felhasználva, a munkanélküliség veszélyének hatását, illetve azt vizsgáltuk, hogy a családi vállalkozások mennyiben segíthetik a fizetett munkát nem találó egyének önfoglalkoztatóvá válását. Az eredmények arra utalnak, hogy az álláskínálat csökkenése ösztönözhette a nők önfoglalkoztatóvá válását, de nem feltétlenül a családi vállalkozásokon keresztül, a férfiak önfoglalkoztatására viszont alig volt hatással.
