Abstract

Az európai integráció, a gazdasági és monetáris unió (GMU) a világszerte egyre terjedő regionális rendszerek mindmáig egyedi, kivételesen mély és a gazdaság mind nagyobb részét átfogó formája. Elemzésünk a mélység dimenzióját állítja középpontba. A mélység fogalma egyrészt tükrözi az integráció elért szintjét (állapotát), másrészt jelzi a folyamat irányát: az integráció egyre szorosabbá válását mint fejlődési irányzatot. A mély (regionális) integráció (új fogalomként egybeírva: a mélyintegráció) rendszerként, fogalmi keretként történő értelmezése módot nyújthat az egész integrációelmélet újragondolására.
