Innovatívabbak-e a termelékeny és az exportáló vállalatok? Egy magyar feldolgozóipari minta elemzése
[Are productive and exporting companies more innovative? Analysis of a sample of Hungarian medium and large manufacturing firms]

Abstract

A tanulmány a Budapesti Corvinus Egyetem Versenyképességi Kutató Központjának 2019-es felmérése segítségével vizsgálja a termelékenység és az export hatását az innovációra. Megállapítja, hogy a termelékenyebb és az exportáló vállalatok inputoldali innovációs intenzitása magasabb. A termelékenyebb vállalatok képesek elsősorban az adott piacon vagy iparágban újnak számító termékeket kifejleszteni, az exportáló vállalatok már piacon lévő termékeik jelentős továbbfejlesztésével igyekeznek versenyben maradni. Mivel függő változóink az innovációs ráfordítás és az innovációs teljesítmény intenzitására vonatkoznak, s csak az ilyen tevékenységről nyilatkozókról vannak adataink, ami sérti a véletlen kiválasztás feltételét, ezért a szelekciós torzítás kezelésére Heckman-féle maximum likelihood modellt alkalmazunk.* Journal of Economic Literature (JEL) kód: F23, O31, O32, O33.
