Az agrárexport versenyképessége - a nemzetközi fűszer-kereskedelem esete
[Export competitiveness in agriculture: the case of the international spice trade]

Abstract

Az export versenyképességének vizsgálata a nemzetközi kereskedelmi elemzések egyik kiemelt területe, azonban a mezőgazdaságot az empirikus kutatások ezen a téren meglehetősen elhanyagolják. A cikk célja a globális fűszer- kereskedelem versenyképességének vizsgálata a komparatív előny mutatóinak segítségével 1991-2015 között. Az eredmények azt tükrözik, hogy a nemzetközi fűszer- kereskedelem meglehetősen koncentrált, élén a magas komparatív előnyökkel rendelkező Guatemalával, Srí Lankával és Indiával. Ugyanakkor a stabilitási és tartóssági próbák a vizsgált országokra nézve csak kevés esetben mutatnak huzamos kereskedelmi előnyt. Empirikus modellünk arra is rávilágít, hogy a tényezőellátottság, a mezőgazdasági hozzáadott érték és a regionális kereskedelmi egyezmények negatívan, míg a föld és munkaerő termelékenysége pozitívan járulnak hozzá a nemzetközi fűszer-kereskedelemben elért komparatív előnyökhöz.* Journal of Economic Literature (JEL) kód: Q17, F14, Q02
