Párhuzamos történetek. A lakossági devizahitelezés kialakulása és kezelése Lengyelországban, Romániában és Magyarországon
[Parallel stories. The development and treatment of household foreign-currency lending in Poland, Romania and Hungary]

Abstract

A tanulmányban körbejárjuk a devizahitelezés problémakörét. Az első részben az elméleti és az empirikus szakirodalom eredményeit ismertetjük, megvizsgáljuk, milyen tényezők segítik/segítették vagy gátolják/gátolták a devizahitelezés kialakulását, elsősorban a kelet-közép-európai és a balti régióban. Ezek után részletesebben megvizsgáljuk a jelenleg lebegő árfolyamrendszert alkalmazó, devizahitelezésben érintett három ország, Lengyelország, Magyarország és Románia tapasztalatait. Az egyes országoknál csak érintőlegesen térünk ki azokra a tényezőkre, amelyek az empirikus irodalom tükrében a devizahitelezés általános okaiként felmerülnek, vizsgálatunk nagy részében inkább a devizahitelezés meggátolását célzó szabályozások bemutatásával, értékelésével foglalkozunk. A tanulmányt a devizahitelezés jelenlegi és jövőbeli problémáira adott és adható válaszok szkeptikus szemléje zárja. Journal of Economics Literature (JEL) kód: E44, E51, E58, E61, G21, G28.
