Abstract

A magyar iskolarendszer - nemzetközi összehasonlításban is egyedülálló - szelektivitását, az iskolák és az osztályok közötti jelentős különbségeket számos nemzetközi és hazai vizsgálat igazolta. A különbségek olyan mértékűek, hogy az már hatékonysági problémaként jelentkezik. Tanulmányunk a Szegedi Tudományegyetem longitudinális programja keretében - országos reprezentatív mintán különböző tudásszint-, képességtesztekkel és kérdőívekkel - végzett felmérés adatai alapján mutatja be az iskolák és osztályok közötti különbségek időbeli alakulását. A program 2003-ban indult három kohorsz bevonásával az akkori 1., 5. és 9. évfolyamokon. Négy év elteltével három longitudinális metszetben a magyar közoktatás mind a tizenkét évfolyamáról rendelkezünk adatokkal. Az eredmények megerősítik azt a korábbi megfigyelést, amely szerint az iskolák és az osztályok közötti különbségek az iskolában töltött évek függvényében tendenciaszerűen növekednek.
