Does camp make a difference?: Camp counselors' perceptions of how camp impacted youth

Abstract

Interventions in early adolescence have the ability to change life trajectories. A day camp was established using the arts and athletics to facilitate positive youth development among middle school-aged youth who were from lower socio-economic status families or in foster care.
