A computational probabilistic procedure to quantify the time of breast cancer recurrence after chemotherapy administration

Abstract

We propose a random linear differential equation with jumps to model the dynamics of breast tumor growth using real patients’ data. The model considers the effect of chemotherapy administration and tumor resection. Also, the inherent randomness of the data and the model are taken into account.
