Las transferencias agrarias en México y su efecto en el sector agropecuario

Abstract

Este trabajo examina el impacto de las transferencias agrarias (TA) sobre el desempeño del sector agropecuario medido a través del valor agregado agrario por trabajador (VA). Las TA se diferenciaron por tipo de bienes y de acuerdo a su finalidad. Se utilizaron series de datos del periodo de 1986 a 2010 en dos modelos semi-logarítmicos. Los resultados indican que las TA en Bienes Públicos son las más eficaces, por cada peso invertido en este rubro, el VA creció 1.6 %; por su finalidad, la inversión en bienes de Fomento Productivo Indirecto registró el mayor impacto, por cada peso gastado el VA crece 7.6 %.
