Ehemalige Schülerinnen und Schüler von Förderschulen und Menschen mit Beeinträchtigung auf dem Arbeitsmarkt: Erste Auswertungen und Analysepotenziale der Erwachsenenkohorte des Nationalen Bildungspanels

Abstract

Mit dem vorliegenden Beitrag zeigen wir, welche Voraussetzungen die "Startkohorte Erwachsene" des Nationalen Bildungspanels (NEPS) bietet, um die Lebenslagen von Menschen mit Beeinträchtigung zu untersuchen. Im Mittelpunkt stehen zwei Personengruppen: Zum einen Erwachsene, die im Laufe ihrer Schulzeit eine Förderschule besucht haben, zum anderen Erwachsene mit einer formal anerkannten Behinderung. Der Beitrag stellt jeweils die Datenbasis vor, die in der NEPS-Erwachsenenkohorte zur Verfügung steht, um diese Gruppen zu identifizieren, und welche Fallzahlen für Analysezwecke verwendet werden können. Neben einer Darstellung verschiedener demographischer Merkmale werden zudem erste Befunde zu den Bildungsverläufen dieser Personengruppen vorgestellt. Unser Fazit: Auch bei bislang verhältnismäßig geringen Fallzahlen birgt die Erwachsenenkohorte des NEPS bereits zum jetzigen Zeitpunkt durchaus Untersuchungspotenzial für die Lebenslagen von Menschen mit Beeinträchtigungen.
